K H BATHROOM & KITCHEN RENOVATION

I recently completed a small laundry renovation with mohammed. the coordination of trades were good. all trades supplied. the space was kept clean and communication and updates during the build was consistent. however, i am not sure if it’s value for money. the total cost was around $13.6k, for 2.6 * 1.6 room, outcome is a simple laundry updo. while a small l-shaped cabinet was added due to space availability, some plumbing adjustment to move the taps and pipes little to left.. the design and finish remain entry-level. there is no appliance integration, lights or functional upgrade beyond a minimal extension. i had asked a cabinet solution to integrate the washing machine and dryer, but was told this could not fit within the budget. so let this go. i had also shared my inspo tile samples in the beginning and was told these could be worked out. but our selections were heavily restricted and we had to purchase from shop - m wanted us to and also accompanied us to tiles shop.tiles were capped at around $40–50, and options for stone bench, sink, and tapware were also restricted. the interaction caused frustrations for us considering the total spend. the quote was not itemised, rather than a bulk list. so there was no visibility into cost breakdowns. material invoices were asked and not shared. some items like waterproofing were discussed as justification to cost when initial verbal quote was provided. but not included in invoice which i failed to notice and ended up paying additional. i was told it needs done mandatorily prior, but then was told not mandatory.no spare floor tiles were provided, which is standard practice. the floor tiles we picked are quite porous and is difficult to clean, this is due to the restriction that was placed on us when we were selecting tiles. there wasn’t much choice. i hope the above things mentioned are improved by the builder. i given this experience i would be hesitant to use them again if not a reasonable quote next time. but apart from the cost, i think it’s a decent delivery of project and we are pleased to have some storage finally and no defects or anything. so all good in that.thanks mohammed & team. hope above mentioned points are improved for customer experience next time. +3

By far the best renovation experience we have had. from the get go mohammed was punctual, knowledgeable and listened to exactly what we wanted. he promised completion within 4 weeks from demolition to completion and thats exactly what we got. the team are very friendly, professional and left the house tidy everyday. we knew exactly when they were coming and there were no long delays where nothing was happening. mohammed came with us to choose tiles and stone for worktops, this was a unique experience and very helpful. we are totally happy with the completion of both our kitchen and laundry.

Mohamed and the team renovated our kitchen and laundry and turned into a beautiful and functional space. he was able to incorporate our specific needs with some custom unit for the pantry. from the outset, mohamed was responsive, turned up when he said he would, kept in constant communication as the unit were manufactured. the whole experience was exemplar and so different to others who came to quote. we would highly recommend kh bathroom and kitchen renovations in hoppers crossing. +3
