I want to sincerely thank raslarr engineering. we had their rear bar v2 installed, and last week while my family and i were driving at a steady speed on the freeway, our vehicle was violently rear-ended by a small car that was clearly speeding (estimated well over 140 km/h). the rear bar did an incredible job protecting all of us. after the police assisted with some minor adjustments, we were able to safely drive home. the other vehicle caught fire after the impact, and the driver fled the scene. what makes this even more important to me is that my one-year-old baby was seated in the rear, right in the direction of the impact. thankfully, my child is completely safe. i am truly grateful to raslarr engineering. insurance has been lodged and i am now waiting for a replacement raslarr rear bar. highly recommended. 0:07
I recently purchased the "high clearance" rear bar with incorporated tow bar for my gu. the purchasing process was really easy and i like the timeframe indication that their system provides. for the installation i used my local 4x4 shop in gippsland. they didn't seem to have any issues. i have only used the bar so far on a few camping trips but love it. i also got the spare wheel carrier, jerry/gas bottle carrier and the chainsaw shelf. it's a great setup.
